Talk show host Ellen DeGeneres bought Brad Pitt's Malibu, California estate for US$12 million ($12.03 million).
The Emmy Award-winning talk show queen was seen looking around the mansion in early November, when it was on the market for US$13.5 million, but refused to comment on a possible sale at that time.
But it now has been confirmed that she and her partner, Australian Portia de Rossi, bought the luxury property, RadarOnline reported. The four-bed, four-bath home has environmentally-friendly bamboo flooring, glass walls, a swimming pool and a tennis court.
Pitt purchased the house, in the swanky Encinal Bluffs enclave, immediately after he split from Jennifer Aniston and proceeded to settle in with his current partner, Angelina Jolie.
The couple and their six children also have a three-house compound in Los Angeles; a funky beach house in Santa Barbara, California; a chateau in France; a luxury home in New Orleans; and a house on stilts in rural Cambodia.
